Laura has upped the stakes! Week 4 sees you run for a total of 16 minutes with 2 cycles of a 3 minute run with a 90 second walk and then a 5 minute run with a 2.5 minute walk. My lungs decline going up an incline and so we have been on the flat, this could be a slight problem as Craggy Island sends you up the hill 'vertically' on Kerrera.
Running shoes, for all their expense, are not waterproof, or at least the ones we bought aren't. It's been a bit wet here the past few days so running through puddles is not a pleasant experience and you squelch all the way home!
While the running is not getting any easier, hubby keeps reassuring me that my recovery time is shortening - OK for him to say as he was so much fitter than me anyway. no I wasn't.
