Well, since I last posted we have completed the last 2 runs in week 5 and boy oh boy has Laura picked up the pace.
The second run was, in my mind, a bit of a push too far as we had to run two blocks of 8 minutes with a 5 minute recovery in-between, bearing in mind that the most we had continually run for previously was 5 minutes. Anyway, somehow we managed.
I thought there was some kind of mathematical formula as to how this was going to pan out as we have 13 more runs left to do but then, I think Laura got her weeks mixed up as, run 3 in week 5 sees you running for 20 minutes, yes, you read that correctly, 20 minutes without a break. Bang goes my theory on a formula!
I don't know if you remember on the picture of our running shoes how pink mine were - that was the colour of my face by the time I managed to get back to the house!
Laura has warned us that the runs are now going to be longer without breaks. I wonder how long it will be before I break.
